Happy Birthday!
Thank you!
I know how to knit and do a lot of basic woodworking, as far as my old fashioned skills go. I think the biggest thing is maybe time and materials, as well as just good resources. A lot of people don't have time to invest into (honestly a bit impractical considering what you can just buy these days) skills. I don't know. Our generation is very different.
That’s awesome!
Yeh, you’re right. I think part of it has to do with classes like woodshop and home ec not being offered in schools much these days. And I will definitely agree with you about material costs and time! Just a few yards of neat fabric can cost a lot more than buying a mass-produced, neat piece of clothing.
Alright. I should be more thoughtful and understanding. Still, it’s grabs at my heart when you have some ‘old fashioned’ skills ❤
Could I be added? My blog is a bit of a mix of social justice posts, personal, humor, crafting, and secular witchcraft. :)
Vetted and added.
happy kinda late birthday, henthark!
i’m sorry i’m late, shit got in the way, but i wanted to do this for you since i can’t currently get you a physical present. i promise i’ll make up for it next year! in any time you’re feeling a little down, just remember: i honestly do believe you’re wonder woman. mighty mango just had a better ring to me at the time. love and admiration from the potato god.

Can I reblog this?
Yes, this is absolutely rebloggable.
I was diagnosed with PTSD two years ago and something that's helped me a lot is non-competitive video gaming. I like to play survival in the wild type games, or withdraw into the wilds of skyrim to hunt and camp out. I find that putting on headphones and trying to immerse myself as much as possible really helps me feel better and safer. Especially games like Skyrim where the chances of me dying to a bear are basically none. The less risk I have in the game I'm immersed in, the better I feel.
That’s great! xx
