Rewatching 2x09

Skye even says multiple times in the first half of S2 (at least 3) that everything is connected, Ward, her dad, and the Obelisk.

And Raina fills in all the gaps between them, first telling Ward about Skye’s history in S2, knowing Cal and telling Skye about him, being there to change with Skye. And Ward being the one to make that happen.

And I love how even with almost no Skyeward scenes in 2B, that connection he had to bringing her to Cal, her change leading her to her mother, and all of that is all because Ward was a vital part in her destiny.

Even if the scenes aren’t there, the importance of this history remains, and I think that means something.
