@drnevenantonov //JANET MONTOGOMERY HAS HAD A KID OHMYGOD I CAN EVEN POST ABOUT IT
Who is the mother and/or father figure in your OC’s life?
“Well, I technically have four --long story. I was adopted by a couple named Grant and Amelia Loxley. I grew up knowing only them as my parents but..they passed away when I was seventeen.” she drew in a sigh. “A few years ago, I started digging around to see if I could find out anything about my birth parents. Managed to track my father down. He wasn’t...what I was expecting, I guess? Our relationship was very awkward and strained. However, a couple years ago, he contacted me and informed me about my mother. My father is William Bryliss and my mother, Georgina Fairfax. At first I was angry with both of them but..I finally came around and now, I’m honestly very happy to have them both in my life. It’s weird gaining a new set of parents when you’re a fully grown adult. I didn’t know how to feel or how to treat them. They understand that the Loxley’s will always be my parents but they have been incredibly kind to me and after the initial weirdness and figuring things out with our relationship, it became a lot more...natural, I suppose you’d say. I’m very grateful for both of them. My mother was there for me when I needed a mother the most and both of them are wonderful grandparents to Keira. If I hadn’t ever found out about them I also wouldn’t have realized that Lux and I are related so, even if it was hurtful to be lied to, in the end, I’m glad things worked out the way they did.”

What are some of your OC’s vices?
“I dont have too many vices, to be honest. I do like to indulge in good food and good wine once in a while but I try and not do it too regularly. I have a bit of a sweet tooth but I mostly like to bake the things rather than eat them, myself. If I had to pick one guilty pleasure food, though...it’d be bread. Basically any kind of bread. Croissants are a favorite.”
What does your OC think of him/herself?
Taking a moment to find her words, she considered the question. “I don’t know,” she finally admitted, “I think I’m very critical of myself and put a lot of pressure on myself, too. I think that’s pretty common when you are a dancer and you’re constantly under scrutiny. I sometimes wish I allowed myself to loosen up more and be less tightly wound, but I’m trying to work on that.”
What was your OC’s childhood like?
“Overall, I think it was good. I grew up in Lake Doric. I’m the middle child and have an older brother and younger sister. I’m closer to my brother than my sister. She and I always fought a lot. I think things improved when I left to go to school. I lived at home while i was going to the Glass Academy but when I started going to the dance academy full-time, I moved into the dorms there and was only home on the weekends and during breaks and holidays. So, dancing was also a large part of my childhood and I would say that makes mine different than other people’s. Not everyone goes away at a young age; I had to learn how to be independent while also relying on other people who werent family to help when I needed.”
How does your OC react to and handle stress?
The redhead furrowed her brows and looked up at the ceiling a moment. “I think I’m pretty good at handling stress, to be honest. I have a stressful job where you’re constantly criticized for how you look. You have to develop kind of a thick skin to deal with that. But, as far as how I manage it? Honestly, stepping away and doing something unrelated to the thing that’s stressing me out helps a lot. So if it’s dancing that’s causing me stress, doing something else where I don’t have to think about dance helps me.”
“I know Vale hates it when I wander off. I know I am supposed to watch over him and make sure he doesn’t go back to his old ways. But I am BARELY outside of town and this place was really pretty. I can see the Inn from here and if I get into trouble I can make it back in time.
Besides, how can I serve the Merrigan if I have no idea what the world is like? I need to know...I mean I can’t ask him everything, right?”
