Her-Bak ‘Pois Chiche’ Sois heureux d'être encore petit, tu observes toutes choses vivantes avec un cœur nouveau ; apprends maintenant comment elles se transforment : c'est cela que tu dois faire.
Let the day fall, let rise the night. The leaden shade smothers all colour; its veil of greyness flattens the mountains; for whereas the crudeness of day defines and separates, dusk fuses all things into one; the soul of the beings reveals itself as soon as our eyes no longer delimit their shapes.
Isha Schwaller de Lubicz, Her-Bak: The Living Face of Ancient Egypt
For my newborn Harmony Mae My countenance divine
This is a poem from the book Her-Bak and I dedicate it to my daughter that was born today. Harmony Mae Lopez
She listens, the Countenance divine;
She responds, The giver;
Mother of the gods, hathor, House of Horus,
Golden House, Vessel of light,
House of Heaven and the Countenance,
Mother of Love and Harmony,
In her lives, Maat, the mirror of Justice
The seat of wisdom;
Mother of the terrestrial sky,
Womb of the Man divine,
She is one,
She is twofold,
for she is two in one....
She is the mother without bearing children,
For she is the womb of the origin,
which she brings to its ultimate end,
United from the beginning with her creator,
She is the medium, the perfect balance,
And the accomplishment
