Handmade Ceramic Animal Icons Frog Tile by EarthaHandmadeTile
Too often can so-called connection feel burdensome; weighed down by the heft of our excessive self-regard, our eagerness to define and delineate dragging us toward a harsh and corrosive certainty which we can only pretend at. Yet we may always, where courage and sincerity meet just-so, step beyond ourselves to find a resonance, a harmony, a fellow-feeling so utterly beyond those suffocating worlds we've been sold our entire lives.
Whilst we might imagine connection to be a binding thread - blood-red twine tying and constricting our otherwise kaleidoscopic fates - how much richer and more fulsome could life be if we understood our bondings as a shared rhythm, rhyming thoughts, mutually eloquent hearts? We must ask ourselves; do we seek a safe and pre-defined existence, or is our true desire something far wilder, a Becoming lurking just beyond the horizon, replete with possibility found only through the terrifying nourishment of true intimacy?
I am a wave of love drawn deep from the sea...
