What was it that made you want to get into illustration originally? And is there anything else you have ever thought of making an OC of?

Honestly Illustration was a last minute decision on my part and perhaps not the best choice for me.In my college we had different departments in the arts and the Illustration and Animation track lined up a lot with one another but still had some differences. Originally I wanted to be an animator. I got scared though. I began to think that maybe I dont want to draw other people’s characters over and over and over again. I want to make characters so Illustration seemed good because I thought it’d be better for helping me learn visual development.However, it turned out that Illustration was more geared towards freelance work like childrens books and magazines and the Animation track covered everything from vis dev to storyboarding and more. THANKFULLY! The head of my department was super amazing and allowed me to swap some of my classes because she knew I’d been wanting to do stuff for animation. I kinda learned a bit from both sides in the end.As for characters oh gosh there is probably a lot I want to make an OC out of. Objects, Animals, Mythological figures, you name it. Sorry but I cannot think of a specific thing at the moment.
