My letterboxd
its been a while since the topic of disabled actors came up but i saw a movie last night with herbert marshall for the first time and was reading up on him only to discover he had a prosthetic leg after an injury in ww1, then during ww2 used his own money to travel around military hospitals to talk to people post amputation and while the article about this was published against his wishes one of the interviewees was saying how valuable it was to have him around during recovery and that he learned to dance with prosthetics from him and i just thought it was neat !
oh and he has such a wonderful voice. and he's great in foreign correspondent too!
