The entry to the badest street in Hamburg; Herbert Strasse. It’s in the district called Sankt Pauli, close to Reperbahn. Herbert Strasse is special; there are scarcely dressed girls in the windows of the “shops” ...somewhat like the red light district in Amsterdam. The navy had a look-see.
I guess it’s shortly after the war. But Herbert Strasse is still there, still in business.
