Herb x Wind Archer for the ship ask?

PLANTY BOYS!!!!!

they meet each other in the forest when herb comes by

wind asks him what he’s doing and herb says that he just wants to check on all the plants

wind, remaining Stoic, tells him theyre all fine but herb is like “hmm... really! let me check” and wind is like “No.” KJHSDFKJG

herb ends up sneaking in and then sees a few flowers.. looking weird? poisoned, almost...

he feels like he shouldnt touch it, then- boom! wind finds him again

“i told you, stay OU- .. huh?”

herb moves over and says “looks like you were wrong!!”

he’s worried though, bc the boy just loves the earth so much

wind feels his heart break at how sad herb’s eyes actually look, and he softens a bit

“okay... you can help, i suppose. i’ll keep watch though”

(it’s secretly dark enchantress who ‘poisoned’ the flowers skjhdfk i dont wanna go into that too much tho, keeping it lighthearted)

more and more frequently, herb comes by to make sure the forest looks as lively as ever

wind can’t help but find it adorable and he just becomes ,, soft for herb

when fall ends, and winter is starting, wind has to ‘hibernate’ bc his leafy hair could fall out....

herb is saddened by this and insists wind stays with him

wind says he knows how to take care of himself, but, hes Wronged again after awhile and then gives in

he mentally curses himself for getting so attached

then one day herb is like “hey.. you make me happy”

...!!?

“um, that sounds- weird maybe. but... i like you. a lot. oh- silly me, you’re a legendary though.. you can’t possibly like a cookie as simple as me! i-”

“you’re wrong this time.”

ooooohhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!! and then they get soft and!!!! smorch

herb is very good at taking care of wind, how could he not be?

and honestly wind loves it very much

this is basically a oneshot in the first couple of stages anon lol im sorry if its not what you wanted!!! but if u like it im glad :3
