it always start with a tick. This little pressing tick at the back of his head. Often a warning. Sometimes a signal for something interesting waiting to happen. He looks around from his perch on top of a statue, giving him a good view of his surroundings. Stopping short when he catches sight of a girl with almost a sort of shimmer to her. A light he’s too curious to look away from. And in a manner of moments, he’s standing above her with a friendly smile.

blunt   fingertips   dig   into   a   smattering   of   scruff,   weary   eyes   bolting   back   and   forth   between   the   rousing   blonde   and   the   empty   room   they   were   confined   to.   plump   lips   bubbled   with   a   spout   of   nervousness   as   the   mutant   didn’t   know   how   to   comfort   someone   who   had   more   or   less   fainted   at   his   appearance.   “uh   huh-hey !   everyone   went   out   for   ah,   something.   ‘said   i   had   to   stay   here   until   you   woke   up.   sucks   to   be   left   in   the   dust   y’know   ----   and   i   ,  uh  ,   won’t   hurt   you   or   anythin’ !” arms   rose   above   his   head   to   ensure   total   surrender.

"Will you... Can I go with you into town today?” Her smile is sheepish---- Every instinct left of the institute gnawed at her stomach in protest. Her existence was one of quiet maneuvering and testing boundaries, but few humored such a blunt request. 

Head cants softly, pulling crimson curls with it as she watched the other.

“it’ll be gone in a moment,” she promised. for her part, seraphina was also confused... though moreso by how the other girl spoke to her. “what is... cosplay? is that a mundane word for hunting? do you consider it playing?” there was still plenty of culture shock when it came to the world beyond idris and shadowhunting. “oh, see! i told you.” her curiosity was cut short as the demon’s body began to contort and fold in on itself, crumpling up into something smaller and smaller until it reached a single point and... poof! it was gone. demons disappeared in all kinds of ways upon death; that was always a fun one. so was bursting into flames. “you got lucky. its ichor doesn’t seem to be acidic... your floors should be fine.”
