I couldn't mistake you for anyone else (let me hold you in my arms)
Tang Bo reincarnates into the body of Tang Min while the Divine Dragon is recovering from his injury after the Tang Patriarchs test, and he has a serious inkling that he knows who that person is, despite his doubts.
The only question is whether Chung Myung can forgive him for leaving him behind in a desolate world.
•••
Tang Bo isn't really sure what's happening. One moment ago, he was in Chung Myungs arms, slowly succumbing to his wounds in battle. The next?
Well, he still isn't exactly sure. Right now? He's skipping along the roof of the Tang Clan's main house.
"Tang Min! Get down from there!" Currently, he is in the body of Tang Min, a bratty disciple of the Tang Clan. Or, that's what he's gathered. The man's screeching hurts his ears to hear.
"I don't know you!" Tang Bo screams back. He leaps further up the roof and hides his presence, holding his breath. His body is in complete disarray-- and worst of all? No one believes him when he says he doesn't remember anything!
Hey there! I love your writing ❤️ Could I please request something fluffy for Lindir, with a reader that is like really though on the outside as a defense mechanism, bc she had a bad childhood. But with him she's very sweet and caring. I hope it's ok, and thank you!

“It does not hurt,” you insist.
Glorfindel looks so mournfully penitent and you want to smack that expression off his face. Of course, your shoulder does hurt where he’d knocked you back during your sparring match, but it’s second nature to ignore it and you’ll be fine in a minute anyway. He’s working on you with your footwork and the last thing you want is to be babied.
“Should I walk you to the healing halls? Maybe to Lia, or Lord Elrond--?”
“--Glorfindel! I am fine.” It comes out sharper than you had intended, and he winces. “Can we get on with the match?”
Reluctantly, he takes up his training sword again and you yours. By the end you’re sweaty and your knuckles are bruised and a little bloody from where Glorfindel landed a hit, but you’re getting better at your footwork and making it harder for him to strike, and the more it hurts the more fiercely you ignore it until eventually he ends the match for both of you.
“I can keep going.”
“No,” Glorfindel lowers his sword and steps away from you. “You will stop.”
“Uchnuad,” you mutter as you stalk out. Two of the other elves sparring in the training yard give you apprehensive stares, unable to believe that you’ve called the balrog slayer stupid. That was the other thing: the more pain you were in, the spikier you got. You put your training sword away and kept your face purposefully neutral as you went up to your room to wash up.
Maybe you hate yourself a little bit, but you’re not sure if that’s because of the weakness or how mean you get to everyone when you sense that you might be vulnerable. The longer you stay in Imladris, the harder it is to keep wearing your shell, but relinquishing it scares you. It has served you well since you were small.
Lindir’s in your bedroom when you reach it, dusting an already-clean bookshelf. He’s hyper-focused on it and doesn’t turn to look at you, instead asking:
“How did your training go?”
“Fine,” you grumble, unbuckling your boots so you don’t track mud in. He hates that so much.
He looks up and his eyes grow round and luminous. “You’re hurt.”
“Fuck it all! I am fine! I won’t break!” you exclaim, yanking one boot off and hurling it to where it goes next to the door.
He flinches at the profanity. You’re not sure you’ve ever even heard Elvish soldiers swear, let alone sweet, proper, anxious Lindir. You hate the flinch. You hate that you’re the reason for it, even though it isn’t anything like your flinches whenever someone reaches for you too quickly or raises their voice.
“I’m sorry,” you murmur, standing awkwardly at the threshold and feeling like an intruder. You bend to slide off your other boot and collect its twin from where you’ve thrown it and set them both neatly by the door. Satisfied that you won’t track dirt onto his clean floor, you come over and take his hand in your own and bring it up to your mouth to kiss his knuckles, then his palm. “I’m sorry,” you say again. “I just don’t like people fussing over me, is all.”
“Then I fear you are in the wrong place,” he says, voice warm with shy humor. He squeezes your hand. “Lord Elrond so likes to take care of people and Glorfindel is the most overprotective ellon I know, and I-- I am just about the fussiest, neurotic creature--”
“--I love it,” you interrupt before he can slide down some self-depreciative slope.
His small, pink mouth opens in a little surprised ‘o’ and he blushes to the tips of his perfect ears. You link your arms around his trim waist and draw him close to you, resting your forehead against his.
“And I think you’re just about the only person who I’d let fuss over me.”
He shifts to press an adoring kiss to your forehead and his eyes fall to the mud splattered on the front of your breastplate and he can’t help but use his cleaning cloth to polish it off.

READ NEW CHAPTER ON AO3
If Ronan had thought Parrish was over all the time before, it was nothing compared to having him sleeping on their couch every night.
Parrish was in the kitchen every morning, looking sleep-soft and rumpled as he scarfed down a bowl of cereal before his first class. He was in the bathroom absurdly late at night, trying to shower off the grease from his late shift at the garage.
Ronan would lay awake in the unfriendly hours of the night, unable to sleep, and think about how Parrish was dreaming just one room away.
A whimper left Caleb’s lips, as they curled into their blanket. They were in their hiding place, which was the closet in their bedroom. It’s where they go to hide when they are anxious and sad. Their Nana didn’t even know about it...that they know of. The reason why they were in their though was because of some girl putting worrying thoughts into their head about Jay. She apparently was an ex girlfriend of his...and apparently he just got up and left her. What she said was a complete shock to them. Jay seemed like the type to say to your face ‘it’s over’ not running and hiding, that’s how they saw him anyways. Not knowing for certain though freaked Caleb out more. So they decided to avoid Jay until they came together with their thoughts.
Popping their head out of their blanket cocoon, they saw Jay opened the door to their hiding place. Well it was no longer secret anymore. They wiped their tears with their sweater paws, cuddling back into their blanket. “Oh...Hi...Ho-How d-did yo-you...find me?” They asked between sobs. Caleb really didn’t want Jay to see them in this state...which is why they hid, knowing him though he won’t leave.
After their somewhat awkward conversation in the hallway, Connor and Izanami decided it was time to change the subject and to blow off some steam with a good old pillow fight. It really helped to break some of the newfound ice between them and after a while all the negative opinions Connor had about Izanami seemed to have disappeared again. He was happy to finally have some fun without having to think about the fact that he was now a divorced dad and that he had to make arrangements for custody and all that stuff.
Izanami: “You and I get along pretty well, Connor. It’s a shame we met in such strange circumstances. Maybe if we had met a few weeks earlier, life would be very different right now.”
Connor: “Like what?”
Izanami: “Like you and me could be together...”
Connor: “I wonder if that would have made our lives better. At least we wouldn’t be stuck with cheating spouses...”
Suddenly, Connor felt really sad again about the situation. Izanami picked up on his emotions and wrapped her arms around him to hug him tightly.
Connor: “Everything is so fucked up...”
Izanami: “Don’t worry about it, Connor. Life sucks sometimes, but it’ll always get better after you’ve reached rock bottom! I’m here to help you get back on your feet again.”
Connor: “Why are you so nice to me? I mean, we don’t even know each other that long and I feel like you’re doing everything to make my life better... you opened my eyes and showed me what a terrible person Jamie is, you’re here to keep me from falling into a lonely depression... what did I do to deserve all of this?”
Izanami: “Well, to be honest Connor, the moment I saw you, I couldn’t keep my eyes off you. You’re a very handsome man and pretty soon I found out you’ve got quite the beautiful personality as well. You can say I have some special feelings for you that make me want to go out of my way to make sure you are happy and well taken care of...”
She stared deeply into his eyes with her truly mesmerizing glance and all Connor could do was stare back at her. She was so incredibly seductive, so beautiful. Any man would dream of being so close to a stunning femme fatale like Izanami. Connor knew that he was probably straying off the right path by giving into her seductive manners, but he was lonely. He was vulnerable and Izanami knew exactly how to say the right things to him. She was playing her game so well, that even Connor could not stop himself from falling into her trap. He had no idea who this woman truly was. The character she had shown him, was mostly fake and the stories she had told him were mostly lies. But she was such a good liar, all her words sounded so true that no one would ever consider doubting them. It made her incredibly dangerous and extremely successful in her evil plans.
And as she had planned it, she moved in to kiss Connor for the second time since she had met him, but this time he did not have the strength to reject her anymore. They kissed for a long time, without ever pausing to say anything. It was purely physical, though lots of emotions could be found in the passion the both of them were showing. Connor was kissing away his anger towards his ex wife, while Izanami was kissing with great excitement, knowing that once again she had succeeded in seducing a man, no matter how impossible it had seemed at first.
Without ever discussing it, the two of them moved to the bedroom to continue their physical encounter with each other. Izanami kept hypnotizing Connor with her glowing yellow eyes which didn’t hide her dangerous character at all, but that was exactly what made her so extremely attractive to others. She was a delicious devil, a sin no one could fight against, not even Connor.
Izanami: “I’m very happy right now, this is what I’ve wanted for a very long time.”
Connor: “I don’t know what I am, I just know that it feels good to be near you and I want more of it. You’re so beautiful, I could stare at you all day...”
Izanami: “You can stare at me from underneath the sheets!”
And so they did, under the watchful eye of the Frio housedog, they let go of anything mind-related and indulged themselves in pure physical passion. It was good, it was naughty and for Connor it was very, very dangerous. But that last part most probably made this one of the most intense nights of his life.
Unfortunately, the moment could not last forever, and the aftertaste was very bitter for Connor. Now that he had snapped out of Izanami’s hypnotizing aura, he suddenly realized what he had done. The one thing he truly hated about people, unfaithfulness... he had helped Izanami do this to her husband. Of course, she told him he had cheated on her and that they didn’t care about it, but all of this still felt very wrong. It was too late now though, the damage was already done. And soon enough, we’d find out how much damage there actually was...
