I know you are not the author of The Unknown Ground, but it’s been almost two years since it was updated and ended with a kiss between Yusuke and the oc Hibana, and I have not known peace since then. If that’s not the worst place to stop updating I don’t know what is 😩 please do not make us suffer like that, my heart can't take it

Ah, yeah, I know that story! Very sad it hasn’t been updated in a while. But authors always have their real lives to deal with before they can get around to writing fics, so we’ll just have to wait patiently for her to come back and give the tale its end. I’m sure she has good reasons to keep away, and we just gotta respect that, you know?

But yeah, I miss that story, too.

6) What makes this fic special or different from all your other fics?

The tone and style is different from any others I’ve written before. I’ve created a controversial OC, with an addiction and a back story that may or may not really resonate with people. And even if it doesn’t, I feel as if many can sympathize and feel what she feels if I write it correctly anyway. 

It’s set 8 years (and on, as much time passes within the fic as well) after the series. All the boys are in the mid to late twenties. Yusuke is king of demon world and Ettie is, what I believe, a very unique OC. 

Between the plot it also heavily features romance and mystery. I won’t even give away who Etternia will eventually end up with, because I’m building towards something that I hope will play out just perfectly. It’s something I’ve never seen in a fic featuring an OC before, so I’ll be happy to reveal it once the story has progressed a little further.

Ugh, I feel as if I didn’t explain this well at all. But this fic is important to me. In many ways. And I hope I can do it justice.

Thank you @hereafteryyh! I’m hoping for the best but I have horrible anxiety issues. The whole conversation will be very taxing on me, but I’m trying to be as positive as I can!
