Conversations: Walking

I really didn't intend to make many poses for this story, but after a few scenes where I had to show Sax walking with a taller Sim, I realised I could save future me a lot of time scrolling through posepacks and elevating/lowering characters if I just made myself some generic, mix-and-match poses with the height difference already there.

I honestly didn't know what to write for the number of poses. There are 6 pairs, but each pair has two versions for each Sim, and they can be used interchangeably so that's... 24 poses?

These poses can be used in sequence (there are all-in-ones included), or you can mix and match them to suit. Every pose has a listening/talking version with subtle differences between them (and I've made these versions separate!). Place both teleporters on the same spot/align Sims to each other to use.

in the last quiet hours before the tournament stands fill, ladies craft their favors and lean over balconies, teasing knights with the possibility of receiving a token of their affection.

the ladies Alyse Dayne and Teya Lannister encourage Ellery in her affection for Ser Gwayne, giggling and pointing as he passes by on his steed.

he intends to publicly ask her favor, provided he can prove himself in the first round of the tourney.

Promenading

When I was making birthday poses for friends last year, @surely-sims asked for promenading/courting poses which I LOVED the idea of because I really need those too. Unfortunately, by the time Anne's birthday rolled round earlier this year, I was having some kinda existential crisis combined with stagefright (making poses for THE Surely THE Sims??), so I flunked it.

Anyway I finally got a grip on myself so here are six poses for a couple walking arm-in-arm, plus one trio. Same height and silly vibes because I wanted to make something a little less 'proper'. Happy belated birthday Surely!! Thank you for everything you do!

Poses are made with masc and femme frame rigs but can be used interchangeably. Please be aware that due to the nature of the poses there may well be clipping depending on Sim body type and/or clothing worn. All-in-ones included.

Conversations: Balcony

Another set that I made to make things easier for my future self... much like the Conversations: Walking posepack, this is a set of fairly generic poses that can either be used as a sequence (all-in-ones included) or mix and match. Or solo! One Sim is taller than the other.

They are less versatile because unfortunately not only are fences in the Sims different heights, but they're also different widths (these poses were made for quite a wide top) 🥴 Therefore, there might be clipping or floating with your chosen fence... I recommend using TOOL or Wicked Whims poser to elevate/move Sims.

To use: place teleporters in the fence itself, facing the direction you want your Sims to be facing. You don't have to use these on balconies of course! I just named it that because that's where I was using them.

Spare Horse

More somewhat niche horse poses because I needed some for a rider leading another horse while talking to someone on the ground (first three poses), and then a sequence for the rider dismounting and handing both horses over to a groom (second three poses). The walking/standing Sim in the first set isn't included, but I used these poses by ElectricWhims.

Important note about posing horses: I'd forgotten how awkward they can be when posing off lot/on uneven ground 😅 If you are posing them in either of these situations, then the horse and rider may not align properly and will have to be reset.

Confrontation

Here's a sequence I made 5000 years ago in September 2025 for DaeganWolfram. Pack contains 6 couple poses plus all-in-ones.

Unfortunately I was a bit stupid and made it for the Executive Desk Chair, which I didn't realise was career locked into I loaded into game to test the poses - you can unlock it by hitting Ctl+Shift+C, entering testingcheats true in the bar that pops up, and then entering bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement. Or you can use it with a different chair and accept that there may be some clipping or floating with the arm rests. 🥲

Place teleporters in the middle of the chair, or use the Alignment mod to snap Sims to it once posed.

You will need: - Pose Player - Pose Alignment mod / Teleport Any Sim - Executive Desk Chair (base game, career reward item)

Tournament Favours (3 posepacks!)

Heyy! Super excited to share this triple set! Lovely VixxieSims approached me and asked if I would be interested in making some favour poses for the Crownland's Challenge, a community event themed around A Song Of Ice And Fire. At this point I have to shamefully come clean and say I've not actually watched or read Game Of Thrones, but I do love medieval shenanigans and I especially love a tournament 😍 I've also been absolutely blown away by how many incredible Simmers there are, creating unique content inspired by this world - it's so wonderful to see the talent and creativity being poured in something so loved!

Now for the posepacks and required information:

Tournament Favours 1

This pack is intended as a mix and match for Sims throwing favours down from balconies or other raised areas. Sims with favours are placed separately to horse and rider, so you should be able to use them with any height walls/levels etc.

Fences in the Sims are not all the same height: I made these with the fence from Life & Death, but should work with any flat-topped, medium height fence.

You will need: - Pose Player - Pose Alignment mod / Teleport Any Sim - Horse Ranch EP (for the knight poses) - Life & Death fence or any medium-height fence - favour accessory by VixxieSims (bracelet category, right)

Tournament Favours 2

This pack is for Sims handing favours to mounted knights while they're both on ground level.

You will need: - Pose Player - Pose Alignment mod / Teleport Any Sim - Horse Ranch EP - favour accessory by VixxieSims (bracelet category, right)

Tournament Favours 3

And this pack is the no horses allowed one. Various solo standing emotion poses for a Sim holding a favour, and three couple poses.

You will need: - Pose Player - Pose Alignment mod / Teleport Any Sim - favour accessory by VixxieSims (bracelet category, right)

Boring but necessary pose information for all packs:

Hand and finger sliders will effect the alignment of stigmata accessories, especially on those poses where the acc is further away from the host Sim.

Horse and rider can sometimes move out of alignment when being posed off lot. I'm not sure what causes this but I believe it's a game issue as it can also effect infants.

The horse poses were made to fit the stirrups version of MorningstarEquestrian's medieval saddle but should work with any EA placement saddle. Technically these poses do also work with poseable reins, but I'd mostly recommend using Morningstar's bridle as curb reins and then drawing in bradoon reins 🤭
