Media is judged on viewership because that's how a network makes money. It sells ad space on its most popular shows. And how does it jack up the price? By promising 2million people will see that ad. If a network can't make money off its ads then it will cancel the shows and make money off of them with a show that has more people watch. That's why I am so against illegally obtained shows. You like it, but don't have cable? By it, so they make money and keep producing it.

It's the neverending discussion, the ones who are with it, the ones against... 

I confess I buy everything I can afford: movies, series, music. I want them to receive money from me since they are working to entertain me, and they succeed doing it. It's my reward to them, I think. This and I like collecting merchandising.

But I understand some methods are odd right now and probably they should change them. For the good of TV and media in general, plus public who perhaps is not well represented by the current measuring.

Ahw, thank you! I like the little boy(/girl) cat as well :D My favorite moment of 2012 was how my mom got 'better'. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2011, and had to go through surgery and chemotherapy. She still isn't as strong as she used to be, and she gets tired quickly, but all of the cancer is gone and that's really good news. And even though you can't say someone is clean after the first few years, everything looks good right now and that's something I'm really glad about :-)

I think you're taking too much offense to the secret thing. I'm not criticising your family, because I cant care less about what people do online, but that's just it, it's the Internet. A lot of people are shitheads. Also, it is out of the norm for fandoms. Fandoms online are so cliquey that it's like high school again. so understandably it may freak people out to see everyone just get along. just my 2¢.

You may be right. At first I was a little defensive because I started the BONJOVIFAMILY with good intentions and I've always included everyone except for ONE blogger who has been incredibly rude and disrespectful to myself and many of the other BONJOVIFAMILY members and constantly disrespected Jon.

The beautiful thing that has come out of all this, is all the lovely messages and posts that the BONJOVIFAMILY members and even other bloggers have sent me or posted. It reminds me why we should stand up to their bullying and antagonistic behavior. 

What we have is special and "AIN'T NOBODY NOWHERE GONNA KNOCK IT DOWN..."

I think you are definitely right that it does "freak SOME PEOPLE out to see another group getting along like we do. SomeTHING in their personality does not allow them to be part of something so lovely. Instead they feel defensive and I will even use the word envious.
