JULY FEATURED FOLLOWER POST!

Congratulations to this month's featured follower, @hereliesjade! Jade is a dear friend of mine and this month is her birthday so I felt she deserved to get a special feature. She's always been so supportive of my art and I'm delighted to share her cat Swiftcloud with you all!

Swiftcloud is Jade's old sona from way back, and yes she technically counts as a ClanGen cat cause I coded our sonas into a game, and she's my sona, Hawkstar's, faithful deputy. Brave, smart, reliable, you couldn't ask for a better second paw.

AMGA ask: what does AMGA stand for and how do they know each other?

Haha of course thats the first thing i get asked.

So, AMGA is an acronym for the working title which i came up with the night i had the idea. It basically just describes the vibes I wanted, even if it's not really descriptive of the whole story anymore. As you can see on this corner of my initial design document, it stands for Alien Magical Girl Antifa 😅

As far as how the characters know each other, the main character, Guy, is a courier and he kind of just picks them up along the way (although he and Olivia were childhood friends).

For the Ask Art Game 1 and 11!

1. How would you describe your style?

Hmm good question! I'm trying to think of a description that isn't just the shows that influenced me in the order i saw them haha but I'd probably have to say something like... My style is an amalgamation of the Western Cartoon Renaissance styles laid over an anime skeleton but like... also a big focus on fluffy hair and bold movement. Is that anything?? Too long???

11. Show us the last thing you drew, be it a finished piece or small doodle.

Okay, for some context: I'm doing some Gender Thoughts lately because of my new hair cut and in order to play around with being a terrible little guy, a friend and I made OCs set in the 20s and mine is just a mess of a fella. Naturally, we made characters for all of our friends, so here is me and my girlfriend's character (who is the muscle at the speak easy I frequent) where she's throwing me out at the end of the night.
