Hey! What's up with linguistics- does it have to do with you being super badass at ASL?

Haha :D Well Linguistics is the study of language, so i'm pretty sure all language majors have to take it at my college. Even though its speech oriented and i'm an ASL major... But still! Understanding language and how it is formed and patterns in language is pretty darn awesome. Linguistics has the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) and so transcribing things into that and then finding patterns in those transcribed words that have to do with a foreign languages grammar rules, and then syllabifying those transcribe words is quite the effort. It's a tad bit tedious but it's been pretty interesting as well!
