The beautiful garden was filled with her echoing, mocking laughter.
Remiel turned his gaze over at the blossoming tree by the lake, where the fallen queen love to sit under. The Bel demon's grotesque form starkly contrast with the beautiful scenery around her, looking so utterly out of place despite the purple roses adorning her body.
"Well, did you find what you need, accursed angel?"
The angel stay silent, but he keep his eyes on her. He never met her before this assignment, but he knew of her story. Jezebel's heretical and sinful tale spread fast in the heavenly realm, more so when news of her inheriting the Bel fragment came to light.
"You are no fool, angel. I'm certain you know of our eternal grudge against Yahweh. Surely your Lord have created you with some intelligence?"
It's plain for Remiel to see. Jezebel and Belberith were working on a plan to fight his Lord and Creator.
"Will you leave now, or do you stay? You are a rather rude intruder, entering a young girl's soul without permission."
Jezebel laughed again at the irony between them.
"I will stay."
She stopped and watched him carefully. Remiel said nothing and further concealed his presence. Not from her, but from the host herself. The girl wasn't ready to hear his voice...or willing to.
The angel sensed no desire for mercy, yet.
"Stay however long you wish. It won't matter once we achieve our desire, angel."
Remiel did not rise to her bait, and simply wait. Depending on what he observed, he may need to prepare God's Thunder...
