Finally, finally finished the herigaut/gardecorps piece! It's done in charmeuse and georgette: I used lighter fabrics to adapt the piece to the incredibly hot climate here, which is... pretty different from the mini ice age happening at the time this would've been more popularly worn. (Also, the fabrics are gorgeous, can't overlook that! The multiple months of toil were worth it, and I've learned a lot about working with 'em.)
The undershirt is a patchwork of cotton scrap that I've had around, plus ~$4 of additional material from the dollar store.
The hood (with a 60cm liripipe, which I agree with my friend could be SO much longer) is a nice cotton, which I lined with scrap from an old high-thread-count pillowcase - it feels very nice on the face.
