Too busy staring at the dreadful news about her siblings; causing chaos without her, again, the female failed to realize that a crowd had began to form not too far from where she was.  What the crowd was for? She will never know, nor does she actually care. Tapping her foot against the concrete, a soft scoff slipped past her lips as she glanced up at the male, her brow slightly arched before shaking her head. “Oh no, sorry. Am I in your way, though?” She asked as she shoved her phone back in her clutch.

He cocked his head to the side and briefly stared at the quiet response. A group of shy chuckles emitted from his mouth as he shifted his stance over onto his other foot. "I don't think you should be apologizing. I was clearly in your way I'm sorry." Kai flashes a rather cheeky grin, crossing his arms as his fingers wrapped around his wallet. "Do you know the reason why people are crowding over that area? I don't feel like slipping in between all those... citizens."

"You're under arrest for being perfect. Put your hand up so I can hold it." She grinned while poking the female's back with her index finger, pretending that it was a gun.

"Y’know babe, I could actually imagine you in one of those policewoman costumes from the shop down the corner. I’ll need to get them for you one day,” she snickered under her breath, turning round to face her favorite mischief-maker. Jinah slapped her palms on each side of Poppy’s face, playfully smacking a wet, red kiss on her forehead."Troubletopia’s princess finally remembered her lowly servant, huh? I swear to God, Poppy. Please tell me you’re wearing underwear today.”

Nothing can prepare you for just how quickly events can happen in the span of mere seconds. There was no lesson or lecture in grade school on the possibilities of getting shot. No manual on the do's and don'ts of tending to a gunshot wound. Lessons like these were only learned in the real world. Shixun's seen his fair share of bodies infected with almost every imaginable type of bullet, but as he's lying on the gritty pavement, hair in array with specs of gravel clinging to his skin, he knows none of that matters at the moment. There was no lesson on how to deal with this type of trauma.

His throat was raw and burning with every inhale of cold air, voice long gone with the piercing screams he's certain someone should have heard by now, but where was help? There was a sharp, pulsating pain against his right shoulder--the exact spot the bullet was lodged--and every minuscule movement only heightened it, making it unbearable. Quite possibly the worst pain he's ever felt so far. The boy was helpless, hopeless, unable to reach for his phone that was lying a few feet away from where his body was. It was taunting him and vibrating against the concrete, playing the familiar tone used for his brother, but he couldn't reach it. Every last bit of hope he had for his survival was deteriorating.
