”I mean, I lost them.” Hermes responded with some exasperation. “On account of them being able to fly. They can’t leave the confines of Elpis, but there are still a great many places they could be. There’s just a lot of ground to cover and I worry they could end up in an enclosure where they’re going to get eaten. While they shouldn’t have wanted to go far, this particular ambystoma is more adventurous than the others, so I would appreciate it if you would just…keep an eye out, or help me look.”

Did Hermes ever have any familiars either before or after Meteion? Also how about Themis?

Nope! Meteion was the only one. She had been so difficult for him to make that once she and her sisters 'died', he didn't have the heart to try again. What if it died too? His question had cost them their lives somehow. He couldn't bear to be the cause of more.

Themis never saw a need for a familiar, and when he became Elidibus it was only compounded, since he lived in a small townhouse-type apartment near the Capitol normally used for people moving into the city from elsewhere until they could find permanent housing. At that point he just didn't have the room.

Do they prefer rough or gentle sex?

Fandaniel: Whether giving or receiving, he wants it rough. He craves it even if it's just nails digging into his skin. He wants to be hurt and to hurt in return. The pain enhances the pleasure for him.

Amon: Gentle. For him sex in the first place is difficult, and despite the fact that he eagerly commits violence upon others outside the bedroom, he doesn't want to hurt or be hurt by his partner. For him pain is punishment.

Hermes: Gentle. He wants to make sweet love to his partner, and for them to do the same in return. For him it's not about the destination, but the journey.

Themis: He prefers things a bit on the rough side, even if 'rough' just means 'controlling the pace and his partner'. While he also wants to ensure his partner enjoys themselves and is eager to please, he loses interest if he doesn't get to do things his way every once in a while. He likes to leave marks on his partner so they will see it and think of him.

Halmarut showed Hermes a small green apple and made a rather disgruntled face. In fact, he had grown quite pale in the last couple of minutes too. "I think I ate something bad," the man muttered.

Hermes looked at Halmarut, then at the apple. ".......Yes, I'd say you certainly did." It wouldn't do to panic, but he was definitely doing that on the inside. How had he even gotten that?! Wasn't that damnable plant supposed to be locked away in Pandæmonium?!

He conjured a jar and held it out. "Here....put that in here, and let's get you to Emmerololth." The blistering and agony was going to start soon, he could bet. Oh, this idiot! When he was no longer in danger of dying, he was going to give him another kind of blistering!

Shows up late with sinday asks. How would Hermes handle being edged?

Ooh, tough one. Stage one is panting and stammering begging, then if that doesn't work, he'd potentially go into stimulus overload, or if very carefully controlled, subspace.

🌟HERMES ABOUT HALMARUT

Hermes put his head in his hands. "That man...." He whimpered softly. "That man is such a trial. He forgets his shoes constantly, would probably be happy to be eaten by an Adonis, and puts everything in his mouth like a toddler." He tilted his head to look between his fingers. "Yet at the same time, I couldn't ask for a truer friend. I want to shake him violently, but I also know if I need help he has my back. He doesn't understand me any better than anyone else does of course, and the stars only know I don't understand him....but somehow he's still my best friend and I've got his back too."

"And just what is that supposed to mean?" Emet asked peevishly. "She was one of my closest friends, next to the giggling idiot there." He glowered at Hythlodaeus, who smirked at him.

"She was, as you say in the modern vernacular, a 'friend with benefits'." Hythlodaeus said. "At least concerning myself. Emet-Selch didn't care to become involved in 'casual' entanglements."

"We had a few entanglements." Elidibus commented. "But we didn't have the time to explore any deeper possibilities before the troubling news from across the sea portending what we discovered was the Final Days came to pass."

".....Azem was a good and treasured friend." Hermes said softly. "But whether or not she would have offered me her affection, there was not the time....which I would say is for the best. But yes. I treasured my friendship with her, but it was never more than that."
