Impulse S3E57

I'm surprised and sad how short season 3 felt now that I'm wrapping up Impulse's POV of it! This was my second time going through this season (after Mumbo's POV) and it was fun to see a return to hermit hills, the witch farm, and so on. It's sad that Impulse didn't really get to finish his base, but what he did finish was really cool and impressive. I really enjoyed watching him and the other hermits interact, and I can't wait to see more of future seasons :D! For now though I'm gonna be moving on to Joe Hills' S1- which isn't the first time I'm watching this season but it'll still be fun to return to. I feel like I didn't see a whole lot of S1 from Hypno's POV, since he was at his base more often than with others (With the exception of a couple of prank vids iirc). Either way it'll be interesting to see more of where hermitcraft started from Joe's perspective!

ImpulseSV - S3E1

What a way to start a season! I remember seeing the witch farm being built from Mumbo's POV, but I forgot how big it was and how early in the season it was built. I have a suspicion that Impulse was brought in to the season a little later than the others as a result, but I'm still glad he's here. This is the first time I'll be watching any of Impulse's content, and I look forward to seeing what he does- including with this witch farm! This thing always reminds me just how bonkers old minecraft was sometimes.

So today i threw myself down the EvilX rabbit hole by mistake (by that i mean ive binge watched half the EX playlist instead of doing my homework).

Ive heard that ep666 is peak EX before s8, so i won't judge completely until i watch it...

But.

I'm positive 80% of the fandom has never watched 350, 450 or 500, because i don't know how you could take that man seriously at All after those episodes.

So here's a noncomprehensive list of EX moments that made me audibly giggle:

- "Hey everyone, Evil Xisuma here". Makes me laugh every goddamn time

- him bitching about X's weird ideas of property damage in 350

- the fact he was literally made as an April Fools joke

- the Scooby Doo-esque montage of him killing Xisuma in increasingly dumb ways (including chasing him in circles, tricking him into blowing himself up with a bed in the Nether AND the End, and then waiting for him to finish a parkour course just to strike him with lightning) in 450

- "i tried to teach my minions to play golf but they blew up the course" in 450

- "MOM GET OUT OF MY ROOM I'M MAKING A VIDEO ON THE HERMITCRAFT SERVER" (from 450)

- the whole skit with his mom in 450 is absolutely hysterical. EX is a teenager you cant convince me otherwise

- "Hello everyone, it's me, Evil Xisuma, back on the Hermitcraft server. I bloody hate this place" (from 500)

- the withermen turning on him in ep500. As someone who watched way too much classic doctor who, it brings back memories <3

- EX and X chopping down trees while discussing evil dopplegangers

- "Crickey!" Sir (derog) why are you British

- actual canon lines: "Xisuma you're so cool!" And "You're the best, X!"

- "im going to fix this" [makes an even bigger mess]

- he caught himself in hIS OWN TRAP-

- "at least i have his amazing stick to keep me company! Actually this stick is boring."

How people think this man is a threat is a mystery to me. Will update tomorrow after 666 and 736

I just get so addicted to these series that trying to catch every hermit active in current season isn’t enough.

I will watch season 3. Because I loved the idea behind this one. And man, am I wrong that these hills and stuff was so atmospheric?
