its never confirmed jack and merritt lived together but i like to think they did. merritt took jack on as a hypnotism apprentice in exchange for jack teaching him cardistry, and in my head that’d be easier living in the same apartment hide out. (edit : i forgot the scene about the top bunk comment jack made in the opening of nysm 2 despite rewatching before making this, but i’m gonna keep my original goldfish brained mistake here anyway lmao)

which brings the question.. what do you think merritt and jack did together if/when they lived together, when they weren’t practicing hypnotism and cardistry.

also, this can definitely be hermitdeath for those who indulge in that ship (because my multishipper ass would be glad to have your opinions. i wish this ship was as popular as the others because they’re very interesting together.)
