I've never headcanoned that Blaine is super wealthy or comes from old money or has a trust fund. I know it's a popular fandom idea but I always just figured his parents did well and that money wasn't a big concern, but not that he was super rich.

36. Unpopular opinion you have about this show?Oh man...Okay, I’m just gonna say this. Klaine was hugely important to the world and I will never deny that, in fact, I will always celebrate that. BUT, they’re not the most important or only thing that matters about Glee and I think this fandom tends to forget that. I think this fandom tends to forget that other types of representation matter and we can be really ugly about that, case in point, the reaction to Orlando Jones not voting for Klaine. LGBT representation is so important and I am a huge proponent of that, but we have to understand that there are other marginalized groups and it’s not a contest. We should not look down our noses at other shows and other fandoms who want to focus on other types of representation. We have to allow room for all of it, or we’re not helping anyone.

Ryder responds to “If I Were a Boy” by apologizing to Unique and asking her on a date instead of gluing himself back to his safe option the second Marley isn’t dating Jake. I don’t accept that the story of Rynique became impossible after Cory died. There was time and opportunity to follow through, but instead we got a million Blaine/Sam/Tina(/Artie) scenes and very little with the newbies.
