Cain and Abel
How does Kyurem tie into Hilda's and N's relation to Relation to the twin dragons?
Hilda and N have very little relationship to Kyurem actually, as they don’t really have much relationship to the story of the dragons from the start. They’re only reincarnations of historical figures in the perception of the people.
The whole idea is that the dragons awaken to the will of the people rather than the will of Hilda and N. As the dragons are the heroes and the fragments of what Kyurem initially was combined into two separate pokemon. Of course this isn’t really known, as far as everyone is concerned the dragons are just simply pokemon and the human aspect of them just died in their grand battle. But still.
The idea of Kyurem is that Kyurem is a hollow shell of what it once was. And it experiences insatiable hunger trying to make itself whole again. This is all because of the hero’s arguing and Beatrice attempting to murder Atticus (the heroes) that spurred it to split in the first place.
This hunger leads it to consuming all in its path. Going after humans specifically as they look like it’s old trainers. Thinking that if it consumes its trainers, it’ll regain what it’s lost. Of course it can’t really perceive who is and isn’t the heroes. But still. That thing eats people and it’s all the people who Hilda and N are supposed to be reincarnated from (key word supposed to) fault.
