This art piece is a hero card for someone that my partner and I have played with on City of Heroes Homecoming, for their character, as the player behind the character is loosing the battle to cancer, that they've been fighting for the past 4 years, and they don't have much time left at the time of this post. I can't afford to donate to their medical bills but I can make art in their honor, so they'll always have a hero card, and be remembered, and something for all their friends to remember them by. If you're a player in the CoH community on Homecoming, please come online, visit the Everlasting shard, and take a moment to hold a torch for a fallen member of the community. Now that my Hearts and Heroes: One Shot story is complete, here’s Sun’s Hero card with full description, There’s a hint in chapter 2: Something’s Suspishy, where the team walks into a cluster of gas vents. The vents appear in the game “One Shot,” but in this case, it alludes to the reason for Sun’s coma -- carbon monoxide poisoning. I didn’t know this at the time, though. I put it in there because it was in the game. There are moments like this peppered throughout the story where I had no idea it would link to something deeper. This is a classic example of the inner writer knowing what’s going to happen before the writer does.
