Today's quick palette challenge for July 2026
Today's video will be live in about 10 minutes from the time of this posting. Come join @theshitpostcalligrapher and I on an adventure of sewing and chaos!
Mia posted that they needed help with a shredded jacket lining, so I sent them a message, and this was the chaos that ensued!
Hope you enjoy!
Keep Art Human - Toronto Art Show - Update for Saturday July 11!!
Ok, so it's looking like I'll be able to make it to the show!
I cannot guarantee what time I'll be there, as we may need to get something to eat first (me and my partner)
I will be bringing my tiny art, aka ACEO's to sell if anyone is interested. There will be some in my collection that are not listed yet, so for anyone who's interested in buying a physical piece while I'm there, either bring cash, or please purchase it through the requests and commissions section for custom ACEO's, if you're not bringing cash. Also note most pieces are 5$, and I have sooome change on me but not much
I'll be wearing my super big brimmed hat and my rainbow skirt for anyone looking for me.
Hope to see you there, and I look forward to meeting you if you can make it!
**As a note the Truck gallery is not accessible, but the Remote Gallery exhibit will be
And that’s why I never go anywhere without a notebook. 📖 And usually at least 3 pens in different colours.
@kieraoona
This. 💚
More specifically, as of very recently, I research ways to remove excess CO₂ from the atmosphere. Because even if we stopped all emissions tomorrow, atmospheric CO₂ levels are still nearly at 406 ppm, and that’s much too high. For the past 10,000 years, the average has been 280 ppm.

The best part about being a grown up is getting to decide what that means! It also means you can eat ice cream for breakfast and decorate your desk with plastic dinosaurs.
Seriously though, ice cream for breakfast is good for you. It was certainly nice during a Tokyo summer, anyway.
@elmofongo
Apologies for my continued delays. I have a few asks which need answering, and a few mentions to check out. I’ll get to those soon. Stay sunny, everyone. ☀️
kieraoona replied to your post “munarlothhp: I get what JKR was trying to do with having Mrs Weasley...”
Or she made Arthurs in acrylic cause plastic yarn made by muggles would be super fascinating to him

My latest Roll for Art is up on my channel!
Let's make an ACEO piece based on the roll of the dice!
If you like Tabletop, you might enjoy this video. If not, you may still enjoy it for the randomness and showcase of what papers work with which mediums!
Also note that some of the Roll for Art pieces are available for sale, as well as you may even be able to donate a buck (or more if you choose) to add suggestions for the next season! Visit my Ko-fi page for more details and where to buy pieces!

Do you like commissioning artists for a character portrait? Do you prefer safe for work pieces, or pinup style but still safe-ish for work works? Do you like tiny art and traditional mediums? Then look no further! I am currently open for commissions for Art Trading Card size pieces (about 2.5 x 3.5 inches in size) in traditional mediums such as watercolor, pencil crayon, alcohol marker and acrylics This one is a little wonky on the bottom part of the card, and the card itself as they're all cut by hand, but at least that way you know for certain its made with these paws and not some AI slop. This style to be shipped is only available in north america, and they'll be sent by snail mail, but if you would like to have the same sized art but are overseas, I have the ability to scan your art, so you can have one too! Also, every piece will have an accompanied digital copy, juuuuust in case something goes wrong and the original is lost in the mail. That way no one looses out, and its still 100% paw made The bonus, you help an artist who will have a hard time entering back into the workforce because the only two jobs they've ever managed to keep are fast food, and phone in customer service, which this cat is desperately trying to get out of. You also give me the benefit of your patronage that the more I make art, the more I'll get better at doing it! Also its safe for those ACEs out there! Come visit my Ko-Fi for more details or to make a request! https://ko-fi.com/kieraoona The example is a trading card size, with arrows and lines showcasing the physical size of the card, scanned while in a penny sleeve, drawn in micron pen and pencil crayon on bristol card paper
