Is there a canon lgbt couple on bnha? I heard there is semi canon one and it is kiribaku or smth? Is this true?

Hey there anon! As far as I know (I’m a couple of chapters behind in the manga so maybe something changed), there is no canon lgbt couple in bnha, although Kirishima and Bakugou have quite a few intimate moments that can be coded as romantic.

Horikoshi, the author of bnha, has created a canon trans character in the manga however, and much like Togashi, the author of HxH, has gone on record stating their support for the LGBTQ community, with the latter actually creating many trans characters in HxH, and arguably a canon gay/bi character in the form of Killua. So, although there is no canon lgbt couple in bnha so far, there is a possibility since Horikoshi is one of the more progressive writers in Shonen Jump. I’d place good money on, if there is a canon lgbt ship in the series, Kiribaku becoming canon, as neither character has shown any major attraction to the female cast and have had many fairly meaningful interactions. Another possible couple includes Jirou and Momo since the former has shown to be somewhat attracted to girls and Momo hasn’t shown any major romantical interest in the male cast, besides maybe her respect/adoration for Todoroki and his abilities, as well as both of them having a few cute interactions with one another.
