Closet Chronicles, Vol. 22- Final Steps: . Welcome to another Husband Edition of the #closetchronicles ! I have been quite sick since the end of December and was unable to do a lot- but Josh just got after it! . He installed our closet rods, removed the 2x4 temporary wall and installed our super cool, industrial cable support!!! And he had some very excellent help from Aggie installing the door handles 🐾❤️😂 . We still have some very basic touch up work to do- painting, installing guides for the barn door, etc., but for the most part the main construction is finished!! We do plan on building the unit up to the slanted ceiling and popping in a couple of cabinet doors for extra storage, but we are okay waiting a bit for that! . Walking out from school today, I had plans to go home and hang out for a bit before dinner with my friend- my car, Truman, had other plans. . Thank goodness an amazing woman (whom I love) chatted with me, or I wouldn’t have even noticed! She then proceeded to give up about a half hour of her afternoon to make sure I got started changing the tire okay!! I’m so lucky my dad taught me how to change tires in the frigid winter of my junior year of high school ❤️❤️❤️ . I proceeded to get the car up on the jack when it fell 😖... I’ve solo changed a tire before- but on a different make and model, so I texted my husband, with frustration emojis included, to come rescue me ❤️ as he gallantly drove all the way from Leesburg, I managed to suck it up, try again, and find the proper place for the jack. I got the car SAFELY secured in the air. Finally 🙄 . Here’s the hilarious part.... I COULD NOT GET THE LUG NUTS OFF 😂😂😂 I kicked, I jumped, I stomped and they wouldn’t budge. I googled it and the video said I’d need a hammer- I didn’t have a hammer handy- so I tried again. Lo and behold more jumping and stomping produced the desired result of a loosened lug nut...for all of them BUT ONE 😐As you scroll you can see my foe and the happy outcome once he was loosened😆 It took far too much time and too much energy. . Just then my knight in shining armor appeared and in zero seconds flat got the spare on the axle and the car off the jack. I am definitely a lucky lady indeed. I don’t know if I’d have had enough energy to re-tighten all of the lug nuts 😂😂😂😂 he also gave me his truck to take to dinner and now he might not get it back 😬🙃☺️ . In all seriousness- I work in the best place. So many sweet people stopped to make sure I was okay and see if they could do anything.
