Hearing muffled cries, the Satori would meander to him as if destiny had led her right to him. She saw him and tapped his shoulder lightly without thinking otherwise. She sees panic within his eyes and noticed his trembling; his shaky breaths. Seeing the clear drops of tears, her jade irises softened up but still had that tint of lifelessness to them. The Satori walks in front of him, seeing the gestures. At first, she was confused with the first one until realizing the thumbs up. So fake. Fake. For a good intention. But she was tired of this falseness.
She gets onto her knees slowly but quickly embracing him into a friendly and warm hug. Rubbing his upper back very slowly to comfort him and will allow him to cry on her shoulder if he needs to. He sort of reminds her of a time which she did the same. Crying alone for hours on end in the dark, into the lonely night. She hates those memories, dearly. She didn’t want him to suffer it, too. So, that’s probably why she did it. But she didn’t pity, although she was worried. It couldn’t be helped once she’s seen him in such a state.
She pulls away, only after a moment of time. Putting her hands onto his drenched cheeks, wiping the tears away gently.
“Sonic... Don’t lie to me... I won’t pry what’s wrong, but please let me help you... Isn’t that what friends are for?” Well, she wasn’t sure if they were... But still, hopefully, it will make them feel a bit better.
