Ok, fine I'll make a self love ad... thingie.

Here are some of my favorite moments from my fanfiction Call Them Brothers in the order I remember them.

#1) Midna And Warriors's Midnight Conversation

“Convince them.”

“I can’t.” Her gaze turned piercing. “If you had to, would you sacrifice any of them to save the others? Or even, just to save your own hide? That’s what you’re asking them to do.”

He frowned. “Would you?”

She seemed thoughtful. “I wouldn’t. Or at least, I wouldn’t want to. Push comes to shove, I can do a lot of things we don’t talk about.”

#2) Spirit And Warriors In The Trenches

But right now, the engineer rested his cheek on Link's shoulder, uncaring of how his earring dug into the meat of Link's arm. "Thank the spirits you're a fire," he muttered, like the snow was a sleeping beast he didn't want to wake. "If it could, I'd let your spirit burn me alive."

It was a long winter.

#3) Time Lecturing Warriors's Dad

Time was by no means a small man, but Lincoln was taller. Yet, Time seemed to match him inch by inch. "I know exactly what happened." His voice had a razor edge to it that Warriors seldom heard. "I'm not saying it wasn't a tragedy. But you left a seventeen-year-old all alone to shoulder the blame for an entire war. What the fuck did you think was going to happen?”

#4) Warriors's Story About His Mom And The Minish

His fingers found his single hoop earring, and he toyed with it idly. "The trap was empty, by the way. That's the joke. There wasn't any minish in it. I've never seen one before. I don't know why I'd lied about it." He paused, remembering the way his mother's scorn made every bookshelf in her shop quiver. "But she'd believed it right away, without question. I always wondered why. What had I done to make her think I would ever do something like that?"

#5) Warriors Begging His Dad For Help

“Please,” Warriors said. “I don’t care about my own life, but save them. Get them out of here safe. I’m begging you.”

A hand landed on the top of his head. It was heavy, but kind. "Link."
