Just wondering but in the book does Mat stab Rand? I'm on book 6 and I'm sure that's hasnt happened so far, unless the tv show is giving out spoilers for a later book? X

hello! no, this exact plot point does not happen in the books (i feel like i should just say RAFO haha but since it doesn't happen, confirming that it doesn't happen doesn't Actually spoil anything). so i'm just as excited as anyone to learn how it will play out in the show!!!

Do you think k any of the Forsaken (other than maybe Lanfear) shall appear in season 2. x

hmmmm interesting to ponder! first, it is official that we are seeing lanfear - i read that the body double of the bloody hand woman in the teaser confirmed that that's her in that scene and some intrepid internet user found on her cv that she's credited as the body double for "selene," so lanfear is a definite go!

i think it is possible that we could have a group forsaken meeting where we see multiple of them (or maybe multiple of them could be at the darkfriend social). but on the other hand, for behind-the-scenes reasons, i'm leaning towards us not seeing too many others, if any at all, because i'd imagine they might want to hold off on casting forsaken who won't have a big role until a later season, similar to why the caemlyn crew was cut from season 1. particularly since future seasons aren't greenlit anyway, so you can't exactly cast demandred now, hope the show will make it to season 5 when we need him, and hope the actor who played him for one scene 5 years ago will be available then haha

i think it would make the most sense to flesh out the concept of the forsaken and give the names/reputations of some of the other ones while keeping the focus on only ishamael and lanfear in season 2. (man i just really need the official list of which 8 made the cut! rafe please put me out of my misery and list all 8 in s2!) ishamael is defeated at the end of s2 and lanfear heads off on her aiel waste scheme, so s3 features lanfear, asmodean, moghedien, and possibly rahvin/sammael/demandred (depending on which of the two they keep and how they divvy up the storylines that originally belonged to the one who was axed, although if demandred is kept i'd imagine he'd be given taimandred stuff and not anything that originally belonged to rahvin or sammael, so i wouldn't expect to see him until a later season). graendal and semirhage i also wouldn't expect to see until a later season, and i think it's almost universally agreed that mesaana, be'lal, aginor, and balthamel will be cut. i did see someone claim that one of the statues is be'lal but i absolutely refuse to believe that he would make it over somebody among rahvin/sammael/demandred jkjfg

OOH i just remembered that there was speculation that laia costa could be playing moghedien since she was cast as "magdelena," so it's definitely possible we could see moghedien in s2! of the remaining forsaken, i think she'd be the most likely for s2 anyway since we could potentially see her as part of the liandrin/black ajah/wondergirls plotline, depending on how they decide to readjust the pacing etc of that plotline.

honestly when i first made the post clearing my name, i had no idea about all the terrible shit hawks had actually done. originally, i was gonna leave because i didn’t want to make things worse bc she kept accusing me of bullying and harassment no matter what i did, but now that i know what an awful, disgusting person she is, i refuse to let her run me off this site 😭

i might not be as active on here as i have been in the past, but i’ll still be here, even if just to spite hawks :)

(and obviously i’ll be here to theorize and fangirl with you all once we get new content for s2)

I’ve seen similar things happen in other fandoms. A few years back in the game of thrones fandom someone who hated Daenerys literally faked their death and accused a pro Dany blog of bullying them and made hundreds of fake accounts to bully Dany fans. It sucks u had to deal with a similarly vile person

oh my god that’s actually terrible, i genuinely have no clue what tf drives people to do stuff like that…and honestly hawks needs to either delete her blog or just leave the rest of us alone bc literally no one in this fandom wants to associate with her racist terf ass 😭 (and anyone that still does associate with her, please block me and leave me alone)
