POETIC STARTERS. | ACCEPTING
“yeah,” she admits readily. she was still terrified of the dark, in truth, the same way she was still scared of heights. but just like her fear of heights...
now she had someone she trusted enough to overpower her fear.
she reached for isaak’s hand and intertwined their fingers, a soft smile on her face just barely visible in the starlight. the forest around them was dark, and dangerous, and terrifying, but isaak was here, and that gave ingrid the courage to face her fear.
“but i have your hand to hold. so i’ll be okay.”
Perhaps he knows better than to sneak up on the dancer, but Isaak can't help himself when he steps behind her, letting his arms snake around her waist to draw her close. And he laughs quietly to himself, leaning over her shoulder to press his nose into her cheek to nuzzle it gently before he's placing a sweet kiss over the spot he nuzzled.

Although Olivia is hardly accustomed to people sneaking up on her, she’s come to familiarize herself with the particular sound of Isaak’s footfalls so she isn’t so taken aback when he DOES decide to sneak up on her. She giggles as his arms wrap around her waist, and she’s QUICK to intertwine her fingers with his own; a flush of vibrant crimson pool into ivory cheeks and stains the tips of her ears when he nuzzles and kisses her.
Such a sweet and simple sentiment – it conveys deep emotion and words that DON’T have to be said aloud.
