The glowing reds and oranges of the autumn foliage of Cotoneaster horizontalis (wall spray, wall cotoneaster, herringbone cotoneater). This spreading deciduous shrub can reach up to 2m wide. This plant is listed on Schedule 9 of the UK Wildlife & Countryside Act as an invasive non-native species. It can be sold in the UK, but care needs to be taken when disposing of unwanted material. The flowers are much appreciated by bees and other pollinators.
