Emmy crossed her arms, walking through the flowers. Honestly there was nothing really keeping her here... except the fact that Hershel might be faster than she was.

She stopped at stared at a rose, gently feeling the petals. Maybe he'd realize she wasn't exactly the right kind of leverage for anyone. Why was he even attempting to keep her here?

"Hershel..."

"I don't believe we've met, but at the same time something tells me that introductions aren't needed. So I'll just say this instead; leave my plants alone and I won't tear you apart. People have a nasty habit of ruining my life and I won't tolerate it any longer."

Plants? Clive blinked, nodding slightly. This man looked something like Hershel, but...

Something told him he shouldn't try to tip this one off.

"Erm..." Clive huffed, quickly regaining his composure. "...Yes, alright," he sighed, "you've... not to worry, I have no plans to ever do anything of the sort."

She seemed upset. Scared, almost, and judging by her words, she’d thought something quite bad had happened. But, wait - she’d found him on the road? He’d passed out, on the road? Better yet, the side of it. It was only september yet, and he was already dropping unconscious without knowing about it?

"I was only sleeping." He said. Or at least, he hoped he’d only been sleeping. It was too early or any kind of hibernation. "Did it look… that bad, to you? I don’t normally do that, but considering the time of year, I’m not surprised it did."

"I-I don't know if it was bad or not, I tried taking your pulse but I-I must have made a mistake looking for it."
