He keeps his head tilted, deliberately showing the right side of his neck; the mating gland is on the other side, but this still shows he’s not a threat. Zayn answers at the third ring. “Lou?” he asks, confusion seeping into his voice. “Zed,” Louis says quietly, trying to keep his tone as calm as possible. “Zed, I’ve found Harry. “You shouldn’t be here,” Harry gritted out, wild-eyed. “You should be scared of me.” Louis opened his mouth to speak, to cut him off, to disagree, but Harry was pushing. “I could hurt you.” “You won’t hurt me,” Louis said, simple and assuredly. Calm. “I’m capable of hurting you.” “But you won’t. That’s not who you are, Harry. I trust you,” Louis whispered. As an omega carer that works at a rescue and rehabilitation centre for feral alphas and omegas, Louis has experienced all sides of ferality. So Harry- a cold, near mute, non-receptive alpha- was a challenging case for everyone at Phoenix Rehab Centre. Louis wasn’t expecting to feel drawn towards an aloof Harry, or to form a slow bond with him. He certainly was not expecting for his entire life to change in unforeseen ways.

He glances anxiously over at his boyfriend in time to see Louis' eyes widen over his mug of tea. There's a choking sound, and all of a sudden Louis is coughing violently, trying to draw in a breath as his tea goes down the wrong way.

"Oh my- oh my god, Louis!" Marcel yells, panicked.

My Process!

I was truly inspired by the way the lights reflected during TBSL on HSLOT 2021 created such a perspective shift in visuals. Also credits to Amy Marie Photography who i took the photo references from. It was fun doing this painting as a really could tap into that art side of me where I just view colours on such a deep scale. The idea of making the flowers pop out of the canvas was always the plan, I just only got around to doing it recently HAHHA. I crocheted the flowers and I used crepe paper and tulle to mimic it being wrapped in a bouquet. That being said, the painting itself was completed late 2021, however i only felt it was completed with the flowers.

I'm really happy with how it turned out and i hope it brings you joys and memories whilst in this harry drought!! Rbs appreciated <3

The crowd gasps and Louis takes his gun out of its holder and points it right back at them. “We've had enough. We're not gonna ask you to stop anymore. We're gonna make you.”

Harry dusts off the flour from all over his body. His cheeks hurt from how much he laughed. Louis' face is flushed from it, brown hair looking like a nest. Yet Louis' eyes are lit with so much joy, bluer than the oceans, laughter dancing in the little green specks. Harry feels himself get lost in them, Louis looking right back. 'Has Louis always looked this pretty?' He can't help but think.

They're snapped out of their trance by the sound of the oven beeping. Harry blinks. Louis is covered from head to toe in flour, looking an absolute mess. Why did Harry think he looked pretty?

Or, Harry is the new teacher, Louis helps him settle in, it's the sweater weather and no one's falling in love with their new, kind and charming best friend. No. One
