the hardest lesson i had to learn was the things that make us feel content are just an illusion of the mind. love, trust, safety and happiness. they are the best kinds of illusions mankind did create. you think you trust a person but they do one thing and you start seeing things as what they really are. the illusion is gone, your mind broke it and you are forced to see our shitty reality as it is. you think you love a person, but one day your mind catches up and the jagged glass of reality cuts the delirium right out of you and sobers you up. we use those illusions like drugs and wake up from them with a shitty hangover that makes us depressed.
