odo is very autism coded to me. he expends a lot of energy moulding himself into a human-like shape to fit in, but he constantly feels like an outsider because hes not truly one of them. every 16 hours he has to return to his original form to recover from the strain of acting like everyone else. thats autism baby!!! thats masking!!! thats literally how i feel every day of my damn life!!!

i wish i could turn into goo and sit in a bucket in the back of my office when i get overstimulated
