I asked the fellas to bring whatever look they wanted pull off for this shoot. @claudexcosplay presented an urban Ninja set....@michaelgreatnessjohnson and I looked at each other and said.. "We can match that!" . . Samurai, Ninja and Assassin... casually. . . Oh.... and this is the first ever cosplay of He-Sol... the He-Man character created by mixing @officialsunman and my version of the character that can be found in Issue #6 of He-Man and the Masters of the Multiverse by @timseeley. Happy Friday, folks!! I just wanted to drop this here to remind everyone in the cosplay community that to someone, you are goals. You are what they aspire to be... whether it's your confidence, your skillset or your community engagement... someone is looking to you as an example. . . @bigsmu, @brownelegz, @brian_maurice_actor, @shawnshonuff, @thesmoke007, @corey1914 and a few others have shown me through their work with @superherosupporters what it looks like to meaningfully give back to the community that we a part. Aside from actors, we as cosplayers are the closest things to being representations of these kids' imaginations. That's both an awesome and daunting responsibility that I know we're all up for. . . Things are coming for the entire community and I want make sure you're all able to take advantage of the opportunities. Be your authentic self and thrive. You could be that spark for someone and you may not even know it. We're proud of you over here!!! I like to think I can speak for @headnerdsincharge, @blerdseyeview, @blackcosplayboosters and @AfroComicCon and say that they are all excited for your growth!! . .
