Overhearing the way Kiki described getting drunk in her old town, for some reason it caused a pang in Stanislav’s chest; though he didn’t know how to describe the feeling. Pity? Sympathy? Concern? A mixture of all three? 

          He shook his head. “No, Kiki. I wouldn’t advise getting wasted in the woods.” Of course, there was a sinister truth in the vampire king’s words. There was that creature in the woods, and to allow himself or Kiki to be put in danger would be unforgivable.

        Once Kiki had a drink of the water, he was at least satisfied in Kiki’s willingness to hydrate herself. Stanislav set the glass on her table, remaining knelt down beside the wiccan.

       “See, now was that so hard? Are you feeling better-?” Stanislav reached out, placing his cold hand against her face. Though he maintained his dignified calm, there was a layer of worry, hidden within the depths of his gaze.

“Wellll duhhh I mean I wouldn’t go till that meanie is out of the woods....like I’m not one to get scareddds buuuuuut that thing....is wowwww...realllly fucking meannn...it bit Elidi....” she pouted as she thought back to the night they had been attacked. The two had gone out to get some ingredients for a protection spell that the witch had wanted to perform. “I’ve seen it before hmmm when we first met! I thought I was just seeing things buuuut nooope” she popped the p. “Glowing red eyes....haha really uglyyyy....Elidi said run buuuuut I wasn’t just gonna leave her duhhh....soooo I distracteddd it! Buuut then it chased me I was gonna be screwed mmmm buuuut! Elidi saved me.....soooo yeahhhh y’all should reaaaallly take care of that” She finished her rambling and rubbed her flushed cheeks with her hands. She leaned into the vampires cold touch against her forehead. “Mmm I felt awful beforeeee I was drunk but now I’m greaaaat”
