so like. nearly a year ago all of my musical theater mutuals were talking about this ghost show and i was like. huh. whatever.

and then i saw that video of julie telling the boys to go to pasadena and i was like Woah She’s Cool, and ended up watching the show

here we are. around 12 months later. 28 fics later. a hyperfix that lasted literally seven months and a tv show that i’ll always love.

it gave us so much, in terms of characters, in terms of storylines and representation, personally, it gave me comfort and made me feel seen and allowed me to learn more about myself. and i know it did this for others.

even more personally, it gave me a family. as of this very moment, almost all the people i love the most in the world i wouldn’t have known without jatp.

it gave me incredible friends, people i wouldn’t know if we didn’t stay up late talking about how fucking cool julie and flynn are, or how happy willex makes us.

beyond grateful for all this show has done and i really don’t have enough words to describe it either.

Was just informed by my mom that I do in fact have ADHD and the reason I thought I didn’t was because ever since I was seven whenever I got super energetic my mom would have me go chop wood so now when I’m feeling The ADHD I go chop wood and I thought it was just some sort of routine I started when I was little and wanted to blow off steam

Oh yeah and when it rains my mom has a required hour where we all have to go outside and run around and whoever finds the most worms for the garden wins and then we go inside and my mom makes us tea and we watch Studio Ghibli movies
