Hestyles.94 (Spotify): "Getaway" Tritonal
After the complexity and heartache of the last song that was left on the hestyles.94 Spotify account, (“Meet You There” Busted) the one that popped up today after weeks of silence is an absolute treat.
It’s “Getaway” by Tritonal:

It’s like the love child of “Why Don’t We Go There” and “Ready To Run”!
Of course, I am a big fat “I make my home in the catch in Louis’ voice” kind of Larrie, and given the source* I’m predisposed to take this a certain way. So I’m particularly fond of “It don’t matter what we’ve been told” because they have been told some utter crap. And I like hearing “I don’t see no red lights” because there have been nothing but for the longest time.
Coming as it does one day after all the boys appeared on the Columbia label, well. Excuse a girl for being a little optimistic.
* “The source” – hestyles.94 is a Spotify account that at least at one time appeared to belong to Harry Styles. How’s that for pedigree! It has been there forever, since 2010, when few people would have any reason to pose as him. Harry’s mother, sister, and stepfather all followed the account in the beginning – they have since unfollowed.
Most people, I’ll warrant, would say that there’s no way it’s Harry – or no way it’s still Harry if it ever was Harry. That’s ok with me. Whoever is running it is clever, complex, has great taste in music, and is very well informed on goings-on in the 1D world.
For example, while Louis and Danielle were in Mexico, this account left a song called “Chelsey”. Days later, someone worked out that Chelsea Handler, a good friend of Harry’s, has a house in Mexico. Harry was MIA while Louis was there, and you know Louis and Danielle weren’t sharing a hotel room. Remember how tan Louis was when he got back? Remember that Harry was pretty tan too, when he showed up in London, gearing up for Dunkirk?
It’s a reach. And maybe hestyles.94 is just the biggest Larrie ever known and can sustain reaches longer than most.
But here’s the thing.
I really really want to believe it is. Let me live.
