Honest Hetalia question
Why is Hetalia fandom as huge as it is? I mean, is it really only solely for shipping and such? I honesty don't understand how a lot of the humor is funny to someone who isn't a history geek (except in the English dub, which I think generally makes the humor more accessible). I mean, I did watch it and loved it, but I left fandom for a while and now everything on the internet is Hetalia why =_=
I mean, I think a lot of it is brilliant, but people seem to be treating it like the new bible. IS IT REALLY ONLY FOR SHIPPING?
