i just wanted to do a before, middle, current thing
so the first image is my art from 2013(6th-7th grade), the second is my art from 2016(9th grade), and the third is my art currently(11th grade)
it's super neat to see how much you've grown over the years, despite how much you believe you haven't (and sometimes, possibly regressed)!
but yeah, i went back to my roots with hetalia cause that's where a lot of my motivation for drawing came from. and in a way i miss it, because back when i was still heavily involved with it, it was an amazing place. there were a lot of supportive people(despite the fruk vs usuk discourse), and i connected with a lot of my current friends with it. i still hold an appreciation for it, since while it's a simple show, it was something i really did care about.
it's definitely not as prevalent as before, and it is dying out. but i like to think that it affected a lot of people in positive ways like it did me. sure, it had it's faults. but it was still a source of entertainment and community for me, and many others.
