Late Night Starter || he taught me everything.

Abbie was walking home from work, holding her heels by the straps on the back. The diner had her working the late shift, so it was maybe two in the morning at the moment, the city like the night sky; black with lights looking like stars. The only other sound than her feet pittering on the side walk as the hum of the street lights, which lit the way dimly. Usually a woman would be afraid of walking this late, but she knew the alleys like the back of her hand and believed she could handle. Once she got to her apartment, she noticed she has forgotten her keys in her locker in the diner, and dropped her shoes on the welcome mat. Walking down the steps, she sat in surrender to her long work day, and hung her head low after calling a coworker and asking them to drop her keys off. She raised her head slowly when she heard footsteps on the other side of the road; the adjacent sidewalk. There was a male walking. It was odd to see someone out so late, so she stiffened and hoped he didn't spot her. hetaughtmeeverything
