15. Do you care if people talk badly about you?

nah i was never super concerned with what people had to say about me growing up, and then in ms i was like lmfao if u wanna talk shit i will talk 1000% more shit back pls try me and now im like back to whatever u wanna do spud u feel me? unless its like a customer complaining about me (which has never happened but u know anything is possible), then itd be like pls god protect my soul bc even though ive never gotten yelled at at work its like my #1 fear lol

yeah all the time! im constantly trying to like correct my brain but ive always been a really shallow person so i tend to judge ppl immediately upon first impression and some people that i was like oh gross about are now some of my best friends!

I'm feeding my birds a combo of seed and pellet. The pellets are zuPreen but I've been thinking of swapping to roudybush because it's a better quality. We have that or Lefebvre in my store which i get a discount at. Thoughts?

I think if your birds will go for Roudybush, go for it!  My budgies eat ZuPreem, but I’m not a fan of the bright artificial colors--unfortunately I’ve tried several times to switch them to a brand with less coloring and less sugar, and they absolutely refuse to eat the other pellets, regardless of how long I keep trying (and it’s been MONTHS in the past).  I’ve just sort of come to terms with the fact that at least they’re eating pellets and some vegetables and grains and they’re not on an all-seed diet, even if the pellets aren’t the best.  -_-

I’ve heard a lot of good things about Roudybush, too.  Beatrix likes Lafeber, but we only give them as treats because they tend to have quite a bit of sugar in them, too (technically I think Lafebers has honey, but it’s still more sugar than a bird needs in a dietary staple).  Lafebers is pretty healthy as far as bird treats go, though!

I hope this helps!  It’s always a struggle to try to figure out what is not only best for your birds’ health, but also what they’ll actually be willing to eat!  (Even with the ZuPreem, my budgies WILL NOT eat the red pellets, so there’s always a pile of red pellets and ONLY red pellets at the bottom of their food dish, because birds are picky weirdos.)

So I recently got a hair cut, back to ye old N0. 2 on the sides, and apparently the cockatiel hen really loves grooming my fuzzy head- but will have little to do with me any other time, in any way. She has to fly up to me while I'm sitting, and goes for it. And if i move my head, she hisses as if I interrupt her work. Birds are weird.

Birds are SO WEIRD.  Oliver the budgie does a version of this, where he’ll fly over to my chair, hop onto my shoulder, and chew on my shirt, but about 90% of the time if I look at him or talk to him or acknowledge his presence in any way, he squawks and flies off.  Birds, man.
