Things might be a bit down for you right now, or if not, they might get to be a bit down at some point this year. But they will get better; as hard as it is to convince yourself of that when times are tough, nothing bad lasts forever, and the sun will come back out from behind the clouds.
2025 is a year to stay steady in your principles where it matters; if you see someone saying or doing something that’s not okay, say something (if safe to do so). Change doesn’t happen overnight, but sometimes just drawing attention to something like “hey, what you said isn’t cool” when your friends/family make an off-colour joke can make a difference.
This might also be a year that you’re missing someone, whether they’re deceased or just live far away. If possible, try to keep that connection to them; write letters, plan visits, have a video call. Take the time to maintain that connection however you need to; as long as that exists, they’re never truly gone from your life and will continue to be a part of it alongside you.
Most of all, remember that you also have people that are willing to support you during the rough times. Chances are, they may already be reaching out to you, but it’s up to you to reach back.
