1/3 Hexafusion Universe Illustrations: This one focuses on Ashush, the fusion of Scourge, Mephiles and Eclipse. While he resembles them appearance-wise, I took time to make his personality a little more his own, make him his own... person? I've written up a (rather length) description of his main feature: energy consumption. It's how he lives, since he can't consume anything else to get nutrients. So, below is his partial character analysis.
He's a being that feeds on raw energy. It doesn't matter what form it takes, so long as it can be consumed. This includes the Chaos Emeralds, engines of any kind, plants, living creatures (that produce energy on a molecular level), etc. The stronger and more potent energy is the go-to for him, since it gives him a stronger boost and he can go longer without consuming more afterwards. Weaker forms of energy are more like a light snack to keep him alive just long enough to find a better source.
Ashush is smart - he knows wasting energy he doesn't have to go after people and animals isn't worth the energy he'd gain from it. He's more of an opportunistic hunter: watching, waiting, not spending much energy and storing much of what he devours for later. That doesn't mean he's not sadistic to the core though. He takes pride in showing off what he's capable of and leaving people confused and scared.
He doesn't reside anywhere. To find him, you'd have to be on the lookout for hazy areas of purple smoke. These appear when he's getting ready to "pop in" somewhere or has just left. He moves slowly most of the time, taking his time walking or crawling around, but can haul ass when the situation demands it. "Popping in" can actually take less energy than running away, depending on the distance, so Ashush will use this most of the time if he needs to travel somewhere far fast.
The light doesn't keep him away and neither do the shadows. He'll feed in the day or night, depending on when he gets hungry. He also doesn't sleep except after consuming a HUGE amount of energy. His body will shut down to focus everything it has on processing the energy and finding places to store it. If it was too much for his body to handle, he'll subconsciously expel energy as he sleeps (either by small energy bursts in the air around him or by "popping in" somewhere). He's most vulnerable in this state, but it can be almost impossible to find him because he hides himself so well. You'd have a better chance of finding him by standing in a random place anywhere in the world and hoping he "pops in" on accident.
Ashush's saliva is a substance no one's ever encountered before. The key features to note about it are:
1. It is naturally produced, but ONLY from Ashush. It cannot be recreated in a lab or by any other creature known to mobiankind.
2. It has draining properties. It draws the energy/heat present in any given material or substance to it like a sponge and holds it within the saliva until it is ingested (presumably by Ashush). It is unknown if others could absorb the energy stored in the saliva if they were to ingest it.
3. The cause of the glow in unknown, since it does so with or without the presence of energy. Possibly a chemical reaction with the air.
4. It is a separate type of saliva from typical saliva, which is used to water the mouth. Ashush is capable of producing both, but the glowing saliva is only seen during "feeding" periods. It is also only seen in large amounts, as if the flow of it cannot be stopped.
