This hexagon shelf is complete! Feels good to do a project for yourself or for @ladyguthrie :) Wood was reclaimed spruce from a company in Edmonton that shut down, and stain was @rustoleumca Briarsmoke which is the hotness right now I’ve been told. This will add some depth to our kitchen nook. I’d say the splines worked well. One tip, id make sure you use a flat toothed blade so you don’t have that v cut in the wood. The shelf is all done. I lined the inside with a roll of self adhesive vinyl. Kinda tricky to get on but, on the off chance I would have preferred a different colour, this stuff would be easier to remove than paint.
