   Oh please be gentle with this being! All dripping wet, from head to toe. No doubt, an act done by Alex’s once fellow droogies. Why, everyone in the town had not dared to say a word to him. For his once reputation of the old ultra violence caused such strack, that people passed with him without so much as a glance.

But they knew nothing of what the boy was now. Why, he was nothing more than a cowardly young malchick!

        Footsteps will carry the shivering boy no further than a few steps before he accidentally bumps himself into another. How quick the boy will be, to apologize and back away, so afraid of what they may do to him.

        His eyes will evade that of the stranger’s, too frightened to make such contact.
