It’s funny how Hex is my favorite dateable because he’s the kind of guy I was terrified of in middle and high school (my parents were all “don’t associate with the hooligans, they will give you drugs and get you detention”) but in hindsight, they were pretty sweet and just because the teachers were rude and dismissive to them doesn’t mean they weren’t kind guys who tried to include me in conversations and activities, despite my massive snobby-shoujo-dark-haired-glasses-guy energy, lol.

I spent so long trying to force myself into a shoujo story when I should have been in a BL istg 😭😭😭 But the aughts were a daaark time for that. And I’m worried that I’ll lose what I’ve just started to gain because of the current climate. So thank you for your game. It’s been giving me a lot of hope these past few days.

Thank you so much :')) something I don't say a lot is that every single dateable is based in chunks off of people I know in real life, the vast majority of whom happen to be some flavor of LGBTQIA+, so I know for a fact there's a Hex (and so on) out there for everyone. I hope we can all keep building towards a slice of the world that has that beauty to it!!

Is Santa canon in the slasheru-verse? And if yes (or no), what are Hex’s thoughts about this? Or the holiday season generally?

Hex DEFINITELY still thinks Santa is real, regardless of whether he actually is or not (I am undecided about whether Santa literally exists in the Slasher U-niverse but I bet there's some horror movie out there with Slasher Santa that makes this canon. Krampus however?? totally real.)

I like to think Hex gets so psyched about Santa (and the holidays in general) that nobody, not even Juno, has the heart to tell him he's not real. he's too precious for this earth!!

I love chapter 2 so much but I just wanted to ask if you’re close enough to Hex come chapter two does he start to flirt with you sort of or am I reading into it too much… I gotta know o_o…..

He definitely definitely does start doing that if he likes you enough, haha (he has several thresholds of "how much he likes you" and you can for sure cross the "crush" threshold by Act 1 Chapter 2 which will probably result in a large amount of gym-based flexing lmao)

I think Hex would 10000000% be into this, lmao. I feel like KISS with the face paint + Juggalos with the same idea = some sort of spiritual kinship there
